Objective:

Electronic music producer Justin Caruso, known for his chart-topping hits, partnered with Pun to bring a bold visual concept to life—an astronaut-themed world that represented exploration, emotion, and escapism. The creative challenge was to incorporate Justin himself into a fully realized 3D environment while keeping production costs low.

Goal:

Design and produce a set of dynamic visuals that seamlessly blended 3D animation and realistic likeness capture, enabling Justin to appear as part of the digital world. The goal was to achieve a cinematic, space-inspired aesthetic that elevated his music visuals without the need for expensive traditional 3D scanning or studio setups.

Result:

Pun collaborated closely with Justin Caruso to develop a cost-effective and visually striking solution. Using mobile 3D scanning apps from the Apple App Store, they captured Justin’s head scan remotely, creating an accurate 3D model that could be integrated into the animated environment. With this innovative approach, Pun and his team crafted a stunning visual journey centered around the astronaut concept—combining technology, storytelling, and design to deliver a memorable and immersive creative experience that perfectly matched Justin’s sound and vision.
