Objective:

Pun was invited to collaborate with the visionary founder of Vine to explore a new era of innovation for the platform. The mission was to conceptualize and prototype key updates that could redefine user engagement and storytelling while reigniting the creative spirit that made Vine iconic.

Goal:

Work closely with Vine’s internal team to develop and test new app concepts, visual experiences, and interface updates. In addition, design and produce a captivating animated presentation to debut these ideas at the company’s town hall meeting, effectively communicating the next evolution of Vine’s creative vision.

Result:

Pun joined a select creative team for a five-day retreat in Brooklyn, New York, where they reimagined and enhanced core elements of the Vine experience. Through rapid prototyping, design exploration, and motion storytelling, the team produced a series of bold updates that set the creative direction for Vine’s future development. Pun also led the design and animation of the town hall presentation, which inspired excitement and nostalgia among both the team and the wider Vine community. The collaboration left a lasting impression—honoring the legacy of Vine while envisioning what could have been its next great chapter.
