Objective:
Megaport, a global leader in network-as-a-service solutions, needed a cohesive product design system to unify its platform experience across multiple teams and regions. The existing design process relied heavily on static screenshots and manual updates, creating inconsistencies and slowing collaboration between design, product, and engineering.
Goal:
Create a scalable design system within Figma that streamlines the product design workflow, improves consistency across the platform, and enables designers and developers to work from a shared source of truth. The goal was to move from static, screenshot-based design to a living component library built for iteration and real-time collaboration.
Result:
Pun led the implementation of the Megaport Design System, transforming how product design is executed across the organization. By building a complete library of live, reusable components in Figma, Pun established a unified visual language that connected brand, product, and UX teams. The new system accelerated design-to-development handoff, reduced redundancy, and enabled scalable product growth while elevating the quality and speed of Megaport’s product design process.
