Objective:

The Happy Labs was created to redefine how people experience CBD wellness by pairing effective, science-backed formulas with a bright, joyful brand personality. The brand needed a complete visual identity and packaging system that would break away from the sterile, clinical aesthetic dominating the wellness industry.

Goal:

Develop a full brand and packaging system that captures the essence of optimism, approachability, and modern wellness. The goal was to craft a visual identity that would instantly communicate happiness and trust through color, typography, and design—extending consistently across digital, print, and product packaging.

Result:

Pun led the creative direction and design for The Happy Labs, building a playful yet sophisticated identity system centered around the brand’s iconic smiling beaker logo. Using a bold yellow foundation and a vibrant color palette inspired by joy and balance, the design system incorporated custom typography pairings and colorful gradients to create a warm, approachable tone. The packaging for the tincture and lotion lines carried this identity through with clean layouts and premium materials, while photography and digital assets reinforced the brand’s energetic, feel-good personality. The result was a cohesive, standout brand built to make wellness something to smile about.
