Objective:
Pun teamed up with the eccentric EDM artist LAXX and his management team to develop a bold creative direction for his new album, Fake Friends. The project aimed to capture LAXX’s rebellious personality while making a statement about the chaos, noise, and superficiality of social media culture.
Goal:
Create a visual concept and album campaign that translated the artist’s frustration with digital culture into an unapologetic sensory overload. The goal was to produce a look and feel that was loud, provocative, and self-aware—something that reflected LAXX’s brand of controlled chaos and connected directly with his fanbase.
Result:
Pun and his team delivered a high-voltage visual identity for Fake Friends, filled with glitch effects, digital distortion, and satirical imagery that turned internet culture on its head. From album artwork to motion graphics, every creative detail amplified the album’s anti-social media message in a way that was raw, punchy, and unforgettable. LAXX wanted to give the finger to social media—and Pun made sure the visuals did exactly that.
